Vector imaging finale
For my final in Vector imagining class I decided that I wanted to make those Russian stacking dolls only with pokemon. And I choose my favorite pokemon to do that with. Shinx-Luxray are my absolute favorite pokemans. x3
To reply to your comment on my blog (since idk how to reply to comments directly) thanks for the compliment! I actually don't really know the exact science to how I got it there. The piece was very experimental and I haven't really been able to achieve the same look in a while. x-x;;; But I could explain a little I guess. I went around and found images where I really liked the coloring of the face and examined where the shadows went and what shades of color were used. And then while I was coloring I started with Opacitiy 100% and Flow 100% and when I started getting more complex I also started lowering the percentages. I hope that helps!
Hmmm lemme think I suppose I go from light to dark. So I pick a base color, then add maybe 2-3 shadow colors, and then maybe 1 highlight color at the end.

ReplyDeletelol okay we'll just do back and forth like this then. xD
ReplyDeleteI used PS and I just use the normal round brush (the first few ones in the default brushes)~
And no problem, I don't mind the questions~
